Compatibility Problems Between MS Office and HP Printer

I'm having a problem with Office 2003 apps (Word and
Powerpoint). When I insert a .jpg file into either of
these apps, I get a multiple image when I print to my HP
1210 (also tried with an HP 5150 - same problem). The
image compresses and prints 2 or 4 times on a page.

Have tried HP and Microsoft help and got no help.

I do not know about the specific printer you have mentioned, but I would
recommend checking the HP site for print driver updates.

While you are at it, you should also update you DirectX to the most recent
version available.

If you still get strange results, you may want to do a 'Detect and Repair'
on PowerPoint.

If these three don't fix the problem, please post back and we'll go to phase
2.
