Compatibility w/Ofiice 2003

Froggy

On a previous machine I had Office 2000 and FP2000. Everything was working
fine.
On a new computer I installed office 2003 and Front page 2000. I cannot open
any existing file with FP2000. Is it a known incompatibility and a way to fix
it?
Thanks. Lionel

You need to install FP2000 first, then Office 2003.

You should install the oldest program, first.

I did uninstall both and installed FP200 then Office 2003. Same problem, FP
opens and closes itself with error message. Will it be helpful if I give you
the error message?
Thank you

Ok, uninstall both, then install FP2000, then install all Office 2000 updates/service packs. Make
sure FP2000 works, then install Office 2003 into a separate location using the custom install
option.

When opening FP2000, I can go to network, open our site but cannot open any
pag.

First error message is:
AppName: frontpg.exe AppVer: 4.0.2.2717 ModName: mso9.dll
ModVer: 9.0.0.2720 Offset: 0006bbad

I cannot copy the "error details"

Then other message:
"Frontpg.exe. Application error. The instruction at "0x3092b83e" reference
memory at "0x0000000". The memory could not be "read".

Thanks.
