I have just purchased a copy of Microsoft Office Student
and Teacher Edition 2003 (Word, Excel,Power Point,Outlook)
and I am not sure if it will run on my Windows ME system.
The box says Windows XP, Windows 2000, and later operating
systems. Can you tell me if that later group would include
the ME system???? I have not yet opened the box and of
course cannot return it if I do and it does not work
properly.

Your interpretation is correct. Word 2003 needs a newer OS.
