I just installed the new update to 2007 Microsoft Office Beta. The previous
version was working fine with my XP Professional files until this
installation. I get an error message.. "The file (name of the file) is not
available. What can I do to convert my Office XP files to the new Beta
version.

Unless you intend to purchase Office 2007 when it is released early next year, why convert?

If you are using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the
Office Plugin that comes with it (but don't disable Norton
AutoProtect). See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820 "How
to use Office programs with the Norton AntiVirus Office plug-in"
for more information.
