COMPATIBLE?

Barry

I'm using a Mac with OS 9.1. I'm planning on buying either Office or Excel.
Which versions of Excel and Office are compatible with OS 9.1?

Office 98 and Office 2001 should work with Mac OS 9. Office 2004
requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later.

I believe Office 2001 for the MAC was the last version that actually was
support by MAC OS 9.0

Paul - you need to learn the difference between 'MAC' and 'Mac'. The former
is an acronym for 'Media Access Control (address)' the latter is the
computer.

I guess the world is going to come to an end now because you have a problem
with my use of MAC. :)

Apple is a fruit so does that mean APPLE is the company

Don't worry about something you can't control. I will type MAC the way I
choose to do so whether you think it is right or wrong makes no difference
to me.

I was only pointing it out because it renders the sentence nonsensical. Tell
me, how do you install Office on a Media Access Control address? The
distinction *IS* important.

How do I convert a Microsoft Works e-mail attachment or document on an Apple
computer? I have an employee who sends me Microsoft Works attachments and I
can not convert them. Also, I had a PC and many of the Microsoft Word
documents can not be converted. A window pops up and offers me various
choices, 2 of which are Microsoft Word ASIAN edition. I am English from the
US. Why does it have the Asian option?
PLEASE, HELP.
THANK YOU
