compile error in hidden module: cannot fix

Hi and thanks in advance.

This morning when I started Word and
Excell, I got the error:

compile error in hidden module: AutoExec.

I followed the recomendations from a web site
that word help steered me to. I followed all the
startup paths and renamed all the .dot
files, it did not help.

Next I Added the Com add ins to the menus
and looked to see what was there, nothing
was. I restarted word again and I still
received the same error!

Any ideas would be appreciated,

Thanks to you both! I was steered to this site by
by word help

it said to rename .dot to .old and see which file stopped
the problem, none of them did.

Anywho, I remembered accidently unistalling Acrobat 5.05
and guessed that might have been the problem so I
reinstalled and it stopped the error.
