Same thing happen when you load Outlook in safe mode ("outlook.exe
/safe")? If not, sounds like you have a defective add-in (tools ->
options -> other -> advanced).

I think it has something to do with the Adobe Acrobat addin- did you
recently install an Adobe product?

On closing Outlook I get "compile error in hidden module: Autoexec".
Any ideas as to how to repair this please? tried to reinstal with
repair but does not work.
