This probably will not make it a 'stand alone' program.
I used a program ( Super Calc -- Dos) in the early 80's that had a compiler
built in.
Worked great for distributing some engineering calculations.

No, it makes it an executable that can't be de-compiled, but it needs Excel
to run within. You won't get anything that runs Excel in a compile form
standalone, MS would come down on that like a ton of bricks.
