complaints department?

I wonder why the Microsoft community doesn't seem to have a forum to register
general complaints, such as mine: "Why have they totally screwed up Office in
general and PowerPoint in specific?"

There's no question that the new PowerPoint is more powerful than previous
versions. However the claim of having streamlined the interface and made it
more convenient is patently false.

I'm a longtime Office user. Now, I see that in 2007, you can adjust the
shadow in text box text. Try and do it. Try and get online help. Not so
easy. The help screens make the tacit assumption that you are totally
familiar with all the corners of the new "ribbon" interface. They say all
sorts of stuff but never explain how to get there. I've pretty much given up
and plan on returning to the much simpler and friendlier world of 2003.

Agreed. The "ribbon" is a joke. And not a ha ha, we all get it joke. Its
more like, Microsoft is pretty pathetic for coming with this. They are
overplaying their hand, and the backlash will be more than they bargained
for. The consumer will tolerate so much, but not this much.

Oh come on, I am certain that the ribbon seemed like a great idea, after an
all-nighter caffeine binge. It was only after everyone, crashed, from the
rush, that they all sat around in the meeting saying "we did what?"
