% Complete changes to less than 100%

I'm using Project 2002 Professional. There are several tasks in our plan
that are 100% complete. When I save the plan to my harddrive the % Complete
changes to less than 100% complete on these tasks.

Look at these areas:

1. Look at the Remaining Work field and make sure that it is 0.

2. Check to make sure that the task does not have a predecessor. I have
noticed that on my projects, if the task has a predecessor that has not yet
completed, then it will not close the task, leaving it in complete even
though the Remaining Work shows 0.

The point is that the task is 100% complete (which means 0 remaining work)
while in Project Server. I save the file to my hard drive and the % complete
changes to less than 100% Complete (in the 90's usually) and remaining work
is still 0.
