% Complete - Tasks and Activities

We have Project Server 2007 SP1 installed and are currently using it a lot
for some small projects which are being entered in as Activities. The tasks
are assigned to resources, who then complete their timesheets, sync with
their task lists, which then show 100% completed task, the creator of the
activity then approves the Task Update, but the % Complete and % Work
Complete still show as 0% in the Project Centre.

Anyone now what we are missing?

The project manager must publish the project to push the changes to Project
Web Access. Is this being done?

I am having a similar problem. Our users have created proposals which we
then convert to a full project. We have specified that tasks should be
updated with Work Completed and Work Oustanding but all those project that
were converted from Proposals show percentages. It doesn't matter if I
republish or resave the project I cannot get the correct display in the My
Tasks view of our users.

Even more frustrating is that even when they set the task as completed it
often doesn't appear for approval. Tbhis is rendering our system almost
useless and the user frustration will result in them not using it. I am
desparately in need of some help.

It sounds like you're over-using proposals or expecting more from them than
they can deliver, but your me-too post fails to provide any background. Try
starting your own thread and provide relevant information on your system
setup.
