completed assignment still appears under resource usage

How do I remove an assignement from the resource usage view when the resource
has completed it. I have checked the assignment 100% complete, I have logged
into ProjectServer as a manager and accepted all updated tasks, but no luck.
My only recourse is to either remove the resource from the task, or delete
the task altogether, which I do not want to do.

Project Version: 2002

I am not certain I understand your question, given the fact that the
Resource Usage view always displays both completed and incomplete
assignments in each project. Are you referring to the Resource Usage view
in Microsoft Project or are you referring instead to the View my tasks page
in Project Web Access? Please explain more about what you mean.

I was talking about the Resource Usage view. If you are saying that it always
shows completed and incomplete tasks, I guess that my request can't be
helped. Unless there is a way to not see completed tasks in the Resource
Usage view. I'm just trying to minimize the clutter on the screen when I am
working on scheduling current tasks. I don't really care about the completed
ones.

Thanks,
Eric

Here's a very simple solution to your problem:

1. Apply the Resource Usage view in any project
2. Select the Work Incomplete filter from the Filter drop-down list on the
Formatting toolbar

Doing the above steps will allow you to see only uncompleted task
assignments. Hope this helps.

Yeah, that works. It's not exactly what I need (i'm fooling around with
multiple filters), but I can't be too picky. I appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Eric
