Compress Pictures tool

I want to disable Compress Pictures tool in PP2K3 but I can't. When I click
to OK (in Compress Pictures dialog), changes are not accepted! It's still set
to print and to compress pictures. How can I solve this problem?

As far as I know you can't disable the Compress Pictures tool. But changes
are accepted, you only can't notice them, because screen display quality is
not affected by them. Only the dialog box does not store the last setting,
but returns to the default "Print".
