compressed format

A publisher has asked me to convert Word files to a compressed format (.zit
or .sit). Can anyone suggest how I would do this? Thanks.

Your question has nothing to do with Microsoft Access database software, which is the subject of
this newsgroup.

Could they possibly have meant .zip (or .rar) format? Check out WinZip: www.winzip.com for the
..zip format.
