Compressed Images when reopen - George Baker Message

I am having the same problem as George Baker. Create flow
diagram and then save. When reopen, image initially comes
up OK, then hour glass comes back and image
collapses/compresses to bottom. Must redo flow diagram.

Could this be due to using Windows 98 for operating system
and using Visio 2000?

If have multiple pages to flow diagram, not all of the
pages will compress.
