Compressing Images in Word Adds Line Above

In both Office 2003 and 2007 when I compress a large number of images in a
document I get a faint line along the top Boarder of the image. Document
copresseses down from 40Mb to 800k. Contains labels each one of which had a
logo embedded in it.

This only happens when they're compressed. Checked all settings for Borders
etc and they are turned off.

Copied Comprseed Images to New Document and line is still there. Original
source file was created in Office 2003 but it doesn't matter which version of
Office I use 2003 or 2007 line appears when image compressed.

Hi Stuart,

Does this occur only on screen or also if printing? Soes it occur if you
select a different printer default in Word?

What compression setting are you choosing?

Does this also occur in a new document?
