Depends on your O/S and not really an Outlook Question. How about WinZip?
Doesn't XP have a built in compression app? Can you right-click on the file
and select compress or zip?

need to use WinZip or Window's compressed folders.

It is very unlikely that you can compress a video to something much
smaller. E-mail is not the tool to exchange large files; use a
file-sharing site instead.
