Hi,
Is there any way that i can effect file compression
(for image quality) while exporting slides as .jpg image
files?

You can't control the compression level PowerPoint uses; instead, you could
export to PNG, then use something like IrfanView or any other batch
converter to convert to JPG with settings you choose.
