Computer crashed - how to restore outlook old email?

My computer has crashed. I am able to get to the two hard drives I used by
connecting to them as external drive (kit) on my other computer. However no
pst file or pbx, etc (tried many extensions) exists. I can't get into my
"old" user file folders as I am restricted. I guess this occurs because its
not the user folder the way the drives are hooked up and may be restricting
me from finding the pst file. Any other suggestions? I had a lot of
important old email that I'd like to get to even if its only reading and
printing one last time.

You may need to "take ownership" of them if you're using XP. If they were
encrypted or archived you'd probably need a third party tool though I'm not
certain about that.
