Computer crashed, need to install upgrade version on new computer

Mike G

My motherboard crashed on my old computer, and I had to buy a new PC becuase
I was unable to replace the motherboard. Now I cannot install my FP2003
because it is an upgrade version, and the "old" version is not on my new
computer. Is there any remedy for this? TIA

You do, of course, still have the cd of the prior version?

When installing FP 2003 upgrade, insert the prior version cd when prompted
for a qualifying version. Then, you'll remove it and put FP2003 cd back in
to complete the installation.

If you don't have the cd of the prior version, you'll need to buy one
somewhere.

Do you have the CD with the old version and is it a full install version.
If so, when installing 2003 and it asks for the qualifying version place the cd in the drive and
point the computer to it.
