Computer Inventory Question

M

Mierow

We check out laptops to students and staff, and I'm trying to find a way that
will do the following:

1) Allow all students to only have 1 laptop checked out to them at a time
2) Allow all facutly and staff to check out multiple machines

We're currently using an older Access database that has so many errors and
"unique" programming twists from when it was originally set up that we're
thinking of creating something brand new. If anyone has any links or
suggestions that would be great.

I can build a new database for you from your old database and add 1 and 2
above and any additional features you want for a very reasonable fee. If you
would like my help, send me an email to my email address below.

Why not try to give some help for free, in the spirit of these forums,
rather than try to flog your services.

Do you still ask your questions on comp.databases.ms-access because so many
have now spurned you here?

Poor Steve, you still don't understand... You are just a sad, sad
individual.
IMO you are the one that needs help ... (psychiatric)

It occurred to me that his may be the actions of someone with major money
problems. Why else would he be so desperate to get work?

You have had the misfortune of eliciting a response from somebody who uses
this free public forum as a way of attempting to solicit business.
Unfortunately your question has gotten drowned out. I wish I could help,
but I am unsure how best to proceed. I believe there are people here who
could help you with your question, which has been drowned out by an
unrelated disagreement. I would suggest that you post a new thread. If
after that the same person tries to solicit your business, you may want to
start yet another thread in which you specify that there is no budget, or
something like that.

Bruce,

Thanks. I seemed to notice right away that something was wrong and that my
true question would probably be lost somewhere. I'll try again though.
