Computer overheated and shut down twice, “The CPU was previously shut down
due to a thermal event (overheating), Service the unit right away to resolve
thisâ€. I think that something happened to the functioning of the fan since I
restored it, could this be? Do you have any advice? Please help . . . thank
you

Check the CPU fan and heat-sink: if the heat-sink is clogged up with
dust, the CPU can easily overheat under load, particularly in hot
weather.

This has nothing to do with Office...except that you will have to install it
on a new computer (if it's a retail version) soon from the sound of it.
