Computer Rename

I am trying to install MS Project Server 2003. During the install it tells
me that an _ was detected in the computer name and that the computer has to
be renamed before installation can continue.

Why is this and can it be bypassed? It states that you will not have access
through IE because of the _ but I have no issues accesses OWA on this same
server. The reason for asking is MSExchange 2003 is also on this server and
it will completely have to be re-installed if the server is renamed.

Any Suggestions?

Brian:

A couple of suggestions:

1. Never name an application server (Windows server running IIS) using
characters that are illegal in http URLs
2. Don't run Project Server on the same machine as Exchange - they're both
resource hogs and will likely contend for resources down the road.
