Are you using a Microsoft Access database when this happens? If not, you
are in the wrong newsgroup.
When you report, you might better explain what, "When i'm in the middle of
something everytime ehy does my..." means. You would also need to explain
what you are doing when it happens. If the computer just powers off, or if
the software shuts down. Do you get a message? Etc.
Sounds like virus activity to me.

It sounds like you are probably in the wrong group. I do have a question for
you, though, that may sound weird. What do you use as a surge protector for
your computer? Do you have just one of those surge protector strip things
that is just a row of outlets? If so, some newer computers need more power
than those can supply. You may need a battery pack/surge protector.
When I first got a new computer years ago, it started shutting itself off
constantly. I was told that, despite that I never had trouble before, my
surge protector wasn't enough for the new computer. Other than that, you have
to be A LOT more specific. A problem as generic and common as that could have
thousands of different causes and solutions. Any specifics you can give would
be a great help in finding the right ones.

Yeah, that is what happened to me. Not enough power in my dinky little surge
protector, so I needed a battery pack.
