It sounds like you are probably in the wrong group. I do have a question for
you, though, that may sound weird. What do you use as a surge protector for
your computer? Do you have just one of those surge protector strip things
that is just a row of outlets? If so, some newer computers need more power
than those can supply. You may need a battery pack/surge protector.
When I first got a new computer years ago, it started shutting itself off
constantly. I was told that, despite that I never had trouble before, my
surge protector wasn't enough for the new computer. Other than that, you have
to be A LOT more specific. A problem as generic and common as that could have
thousands of different causes and solutions. Any specifics you can give would
be a great help in finding the right ones.
