Conditional Formatting & Alternate Line Colouring Glitch - 2007

Hi

Having used the new alternate line coluring in the detail section colour in
Access 2007, I am now needed to highlight a text box using condional
formatting placed within the detail section when certain criteria is met. I
have come across a problem however.

The actual condition on the text box works fine without the alternate
colouring but when I assign the aforementioned, the alternate colouring is
alternating on itself within the text box (eg grey line in the detail section
and white background in the text box and vice versa for the next line) and
none of the colour formatting assigned to the text box (red in this case)
works. Surely this should work if i've assigned the alternate colour acheme
to the detail section itself and should have no bearing on the text box
whatsoever?! I've tried changing the text boxes default background to
transparent and other solid clours but the alternate colour scheme seems to
want to take over. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
