I have a sheet I'm creating where I need conditional formatting for 6 different colors for 6 different specific values. I also need a cell that is adjacent to mimic that color. The conditional formatting only allows for 3 different formats. Is there a way for me to accomplish this?

You can get six different *font* colors using the technique here:

Otherwise, you're limited to 3.

For you adjacent cell, just use the same conditions...
