Conditional formatting

hi

Does anyone know of a formula that will work across
multiple worksheets. I need it to turn a cell red if the
number has already been placed in another worksheet.
I can get it to work on one sheet but not multiple. This
is what I have got so far; =COUNTIF(A$4:A$400,A66)>1

You can refer to a list on a different worksheet, if the list is in a
named range. There are instructions here for naming a range:

Then, use the name in the conditional formatting formula:
=COUNTIF(MyNumbers,A66)>1

i have found a bit about highlighting duplicates in
columns can this formula - =COUNTIF($A$2:$A$11,A2)>1 - be
changed to work across multiple spreadsheets?
