CONDITIONAL FORMATTING

When i put the following formula in condition 1, it wont flag my field back
and white when this condition occurs. ([ncourse1] not like "mt*" or
[ncourse1] not like "it*")
Please tell me what im doing wrong?

-- Im a little confused. I did use or instead of and. Im i missing something?
