I have created a worksheet that has Icon set conditional formatting. Every
time i go backk into the file the icons are missing. How can i fix that?

Hi,

Most likely reason for this problem is that you are saving the file as an
Excel 2003 file XLS. You must leave it as a 2007 file because 2003 does not
support icon sets.

If this helps please click the Yes button.

I resaved it and made sure it was the default 2007 version and it still
happened I closed out the file and when I reopened it the icons were gone.
could it be the formula I am using:=b4+365-today()

Hi,

Ok, what's in the cells that are being formatted, numbers, text or formulas.
If formulas what are the formulas and what results do they return.
Also, what is the condition of the conditional formatting?

The formula I am using is: =B1+365-TODAY() . I get a positive or negative
number for that. The peramiters are that any number >30 is green light icon
any number >0 but < 30 is yellow anything < 0 is red.

Hi,

Sorry to take so long getting back but I work full time and it was a busy
week.

Well I can see nothing wrong. Check to make sure your recalculation mode is
set to Automatic - Choose Formulas, Calculation Options, Automatic.

Other than that I suppose I should ask what's in B1, a value or a formula
and if a formula, what is it.
