Hi,
I am determining the difference between 2 military times and applying
conditional formatting to the result/cell.
ex. 14:12:45-14:12:40= 00:00:05
I apply conditional formatting depending how many seconds: green for
00:00:00-00:00:04,yellow for 00:00:05-00:00:10 etc., however, if the time is
before 13:00:00 hours the conditional formatting is not working properly. If
I have the time:
11:00:05-11:00:00=00:00:05, the cell 00:00:05 is not the same value if the
time is 13:00:05-13:00:00=00:00:05.
Both values look the same, and i think excel converts them to milliseconds,
so why are these 2 value not treated the same? Is the conversion different if
the time is after 12:59:59. The formatting is working properly from
13:00:00-23:59:59.
Any help or explaination would be appreciated.
