conditional formatting

Hi all
Is there a conditional format that you can format to allow a cell only to
accept the words USA or GB or CANADA or EUROPE. All others would leave the
cell blank?

You could use data validation.

Create a list of your names somewhere out of the way then select your cell
Data|Validation
Select list
Enter the range that contains your list in the input box
OK
