Conditionnal Formating Help

Julien FROGER

Hello all,

I have a list of 20,000 emails (database of our company) on excel and I like
to select ALL the emails which include the Word "wine" in it.

So these emails should be selected:
- [email protected]
- [email protected]
- [email protected]
- [email protected]
- [email protected]
- etc...

How can I select them all ? There should be around 1000 emails which include
this word in the 20000 contacts...

Should I do a conditionnal formating so I can see them and make the
apropriate changes?

Thanks for your help

Julien.

Apply data>filter>autofilter, from dropdown select custom and contains wine
(note that this will return swine as well <bg>)
then maybe copy visible cells and paste somewhere else

Julien,

It's probably easiest just to use the AutoFilter functionality.

Select the range then Data>Filter>AutoFilter. From the drop down i
the column heading select (Custom). In the Custom AutoFilter selectio
box, select "contains" as your first option and type in wine in th
second. Click OK. This will list all addresses with the word wine i
it.

Cheers,

Stev

Ouah!!!!!!!
Thanks to both of you Peo Sjoblom and Steve!
The autofilter works perfect! I have always used the normal filters and
didn't know we could do that!!!!!!

Thanks very much.

Julien
