Configuration Error

Project Installer

We have a new project 2003 installation that we are a
curious problem with. When trying to log in to Project
Web Access for the first time we, we are receiving the
following error message: "Cannot connect to the
configuration database." This error message seems to
point to sharepoint instead of project server? Any ideas?

If you have Project installed on the same Web Site as
Windows Sharepoint Services, you have to exclude the paths
\projectserver and \msadc in the Define Managed Path
section on the Virtual Server settings on Sharepoint
Administrator. That may be the reason...
