I upgraded from Office 2000 to XP running on top of
Windows ME.
When I try and start the email it boots the configuration
wizard to move my settings over and then hangs.
I have booted into safe mode and transferred everything
over. However, when I click to boot outlook it tries to
run the configuration wizard again.
In safe mode no items appeared in disabled items.
I am currently booting into safe mode by holding down the
control-key but this is not a long term solution since
safe mode does not save any preferences.
Suggestions on how to stop the autoconfigure?
