I have Access 2007 installed on one computer with Windows XP and also
installed on a computer with Windows Vista, both computers have 2 GB of
memory.
Opening the same database withwindows XP, the response is very good for
example running the
performance analyze pops up the wizard in about 2 to 3 seconds, entering
data is very
responsive. While doing the same functions under Windows Vista the wizard
takes about 25 seconds to pop up, and entering data, (such as customers last
name, and then listing customers with that last name) takes about 45
seconds. Thats entering the same data on both systems. The data base at
present is resident on both computers. Is there something I can change to
speed up the Vista system? Do I need to reinstall? Both systems have all the
current updates applied.
Thanks,
Charles
