Confused About Entourage iCal Sync: Sync ashared exchange calendar?

I know I can only choose one calendar to sync to iCal from Entourage. I have successfully configured my Johns Hopkins exchange account in Entourage, and successfully added a shared calendar from the exchange server to Entourage. I am an "owner" of the shared calendar, but it has its own exchange address, so to to add it I had to use "Open Other User's Folder..."

The only calendar I wish to sync to iCal is this shared calendar. The option to chose this shared calendar does not appear on the pull down menu Preferences: Sync Services: "Synchronize events, etc..."--only my local or my own Exchange calendar. The crazy thing is that I think the pull down option for this shared calendar was there when I first configured it, although I couldn't get it to sync. I then did a major sync reset on the Mac (as detailed elsewhere) to try to fix it, but the pull down option for the shared calendar was no longer there when I restarted Entourage (?)

It is possible to sync a shared exchange calendar?

Thanks for any help. It is not for a trivial use, but for a busy Johns Hopkins medical facility.

I'm not doing this myself, but I believe the answer is "this is not
possible". I can't even do this with a delegated account, let alone a
shared calendar.

If you can access the account in Entourage, then what is the purpose of
getting the information to iCal? Are you really trying to sync to
something else?
