I work on Ms-Project server 2007. My organzation's working time is 7.5hours a
day.

What I did:
1- From <PWA> choose <Server Setting>, Open <Enterprise Calendars>,create a
new enterprise calendar
2- From <Project Professional: Enterprise Option> open <Enterprise Global>.
From <Tools menu> select <Change working time>
3- Select created new enterprise calenda, open <options>, change:
- Default Start time 8:00 AM
- Default End time 4:30 PM
- Hours per day: 7.5 hours
- Hours per week: 37.5 hours
4- <Save as default>,then save <Enterprise Global> and Check-in it.

Then:
1- I created a project base on this new enterprise calenda,
2- Created a task for duration 1 day,
3- Assigned a resource to this task (resource base calendar is same 'new
enterprise calendar')
4- Published this project.

The problem is:

1- From <Project Professional - Gantt Chart view>, the duration of the task
is 1 day but on <PWA_My assignments> view, the duration of this task is 0.94
days,
2- From <Project Professional _ Resource Usage view>, when I add <Remaining
Availablity> line, it shows 8 hours but not 7.5 hours on free day as defined

Who could help me for this case? On which parameters should I configure?
Thanks in advance.

Supplement information: (The problem is)
1- From <Project Professional - Gantt Chart view>, the duration of the task
is 1 day but on <PWA_My assignments> view, the duration of this task is 0.94
days,
2- After access to <Assignments Detail> View by double clicking this
task, on this view, this task's duration is 1 day, and remaining work is 7.5
hours
3- From <Project Professional _ Resource Usage view>, when I add <Remaining
Availablity> line, it shows 8 hours but not 7.5 hours as defined

Hi, Gary,

what I did for creating a new calendar:
1- On <PWA-Server setting> select <Enterprise Option> then <Enterprise
Calendars> then <New Calendars> then system open a change working time window
in Project Professional
2- click <work weeks> tab, select 'default' on first row, then click
<Details...> at right side
3- on new pop up, select <Monday>, check <Set day(s) to these specific
working time>, enter working time 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:30
4- work on other days in same steps, then <OK> to save.
5- Apply this calendar to a project and all resorces.

I see:
- On <PWA_My assignments> a 1day task, it shows 0.94d; on 2 days task, it
shows 1.88d
- <Assignments Details>, it is correct, showing 1 day (7.5hours remaining
work) and 2 days (15 hours remaining work)

Thanks
Regards,

Thanks in advance,

JJin
