connect eroor http 401.2

Hi to all
I install project server 2003 ,sql server2000 and sharepoint portal 2003 on
one system, When I connect from project professional 2003 on another system
to this server the folowing error has occured:

"
The server at 'http://`servername`/projectserver' returned the following
error to Project.
You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the
credentials that you supplied because your Web browser is sending a
WWW-Authenticate header field that the Web server is not configured to accept.

Please try the following:

* Contact the Web site administrator if you believe you should be able
to view this directory or page.
* Click the Refresh button to try again with different credentials.

HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to server configuration.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

Technical Information (for support personnel)

* Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search
for the words HTTP and 401.
* Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr), and
search for topics titled About Security, Authentication, and About Custom
Error Messages. "

I checked IIS and sharepoint ,but I don`t know why this problem
created,please help me,

Please don't post the same question over and over again. It's very confusing
to figure out which one to answer.<g>

You need to enter your Project Server URL as an exclusion to WSS Managed
paths. You can do this from SharePoint Central configuration. If this answer
doesn't help you, then you need to read the documentation, in particular,
the installation guide. You must read it cover to cover. After you've read
it cover to cover, then start installing the software.
