connect failed to project server from project profession

Randy

I've installed project server 2003, sql server 2000 on a server running
windows server 2003, now I want to link from a client in the same domain on
which project profession installed to the project server, unexpectedly, the
failuer information prompt:
Connection Failed:
SQLState: 01000
SQL Server Error 1326
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Named Pipes]ConnectionOpen
(CreateFile())
Connection Failed:
SQLState 08001
SQL Server Error: 1326
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] Client unable to establish connection

Anyone can tell me why and how to solve this problem?

Thanks indeed.

Randy:

You must set SQL Server to support TCPIP tansports and you must set SQL
Server for mixed authentication.
