connect mail server through Internet

Hi,

In my company I have to access the Internet through a proxy server, so when I start the IE it wil ask me for the username/password. But I find my outlook express cannot reach the mail server in the Internet. I've already set in the outlook express so it can use the setting in the Internet Exploror. How can I set the outlook express so it can access the mail server through the Internet? I am using Outlook Expres 6.

Thanks.

Your administrator has probably blocked the POP3, SMTP and IMAP port for
users. Contact him/her to verify this.

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

Here is the link for the right forum

Good Luck!
