For some reason my current installation of Project Server will not allow me
to conenct to the instance of Windows Sharepoint Services. When selecting to
save changes on the Connect to Sharepoint server page I receive a VBScript
error that states: The specificed Windows account must be a valid user on
the specified Sharepoint server computer. Futhermore, the Windows account
must be in the Sharepoint Central Administrators group.

Facts to Know
* Single Server Instance - SQL, PS2003, WSS all loaded on one server.
* WSS sites are valid and can be accessed
* Accounts setup for OLAP Admin and WSS Admin
* Logged into machine with local Administrator account
* PSComPlus utility has been run and COM+ updates applied.
* Domain\Administrator added to the Sharepoint Administration Group in WSS.

Any help would be appreciated. I have installed Project Server MANY times
and haven't run into this problem before. I must be brain dead today
....please help!

I found the answer....for those who want/need to know:

After reinstalling WSS I had not yet selected a template from the 'Template
Pick' screen. Once I selected the Project Workspace as the template for the
root site, the access to Project Server worked just fine and I no longer
received the VBScript error.

Unfortunately I forgot this step and nowhere in the installation process
does it state that this step is required. Any additional comments are still
welcome.
