Connecting InfoPath to Excel workbook

I want to make it so if someone uses one of the drop down boxes in an
InfoPath form and save it, it will automatically populate certain cells in an
Excel workbook. Also, this is all on sharepoint. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Joe,

You can use Managed Code behind the form to do that. You can open Excel and
manipulate it as you would do from any C#- or VB.Net-based application.
