connecting MSP 2007 to MSPS 2007

Hello,
i am trying to connect MSP 2007 to MSPS 2007.
In "Tools"->"Enterprise options"
have added account as "Administrator" in Account name
and in the url "https://myserver/pwa"
But when i try to login i am getting the following error message
"Project server could not be contacted.
Bad certificate problem".
So i request to please suggest me some idea if i want to so that i can
give the url as https and not as http.

Can the client machine resolve the CA for the cert?

Has the cert expired?

Can you browse from IE using the same URL without any problems ?

Does the site require the client to have a cert installed ?

Do you receive any warnings when you use Internet Explorer and
navigate to the same URL? If you receive any certificate warnings,
then the url won't work through Project Pro.
