Connecting to Exchange server 2007 with Entourage 2008

Hi,

I get the following error when trying to connect Entourage to my Exchange server.
I have tried with and without SSL.
Sometimes with SSL on, it comes up with a box saying a secure connection could not be created.
I can access my account through the OWA in a browser fine.
I have also reset my Keychain incase it was storing any previous details.
The auto-configure is enabled on the server, and DNS is configured correctly.
I have also tried using fully qualified domain and usernames.
And now I'm a bit stumped, any advice greatly appreciated.

That's not the usual "no certificate" issue. I don't remember ever
seeing this one,

Could it simply be a Server issue??

I'm having a similar problem with entourage 2004 and 2008 ever since we moved from exchange 2003 to 2007. I've scoured the web for answers, and most seem to think it is something to do with enabling legacy support for OWA, but we've tried this with no success. Anyone who can give us more specifics on settings or things to check in exchange is gratefully received.
Note the irony of requiring 'legacy' support in a product from 2007 for a client from 2008.

Its driving me insane!
My senior MS analyst has been looking into this as well, with no joy!
I haven't tried the legacy mode yet, but Ill give it a go on Monday, I simply just cant understand why entourage on the Mac doesn't just work in the same way outlook does on the PC!
Even the auto-configure doesn't do the trick, yet all the PC's in and outside our network all pick up the settings and auto-configure.
I'm going to call premium support soon, if they figure it out I will post the answer here.

The autosetup in Entourage will not work outside the network where the
Exchange Server resides. Auto discovery will only work inside the network.

Also, your DHCP server must have the proper options for mail server
discovery enabled. This link shows an example for ISA but should be
similar to a mail server setup
<http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Configuring-DHCP-DNS-automatic-discovery.html>.

Hope this helps!
