Are you talking server to server or are you working on the same server that
Project Server is installed on? Are you in a domain environment?

Hi..

I have a minor problem when accessing Project Server 2003 from Windows
Server 2003. When you go to the site http://server/projectserver u have to
provide your username and password (i'm using windows authentication and the
users have accounts on the Project Server).

Accessing the Project Server with Win XP or Win 2000 Pro is no problem, it
goes straight in without having to provide username or password.

Anyone has a clue why you have to provide username/password from Windows
Server 2003?

Thanks,
Alexander

Hi Gary..

The ProjectServer 2003 is on one computer.

TheWindows Server 2003 is on another computer that a user is trying to
access Project Server from (he is logged on as a domain user on this comp).

Yes, I am in a domain enviroment and the 2 computers are on the same subnet.

Alex:

I'd look at the browser settings on the Server machine that you're
connecting from. Manually add Project Server to the trusted sites, and make
sure that user authentication is set to automatically use logon with the
current account rather than to prompt for username and password.
