Connecting to Project Server thru MS Project Professional

i have created one Project Template and uploded to Project SErver but after
that whenever i am trying to connect to Project Server thru MS Project
Professional i am getting error

"unexpected server response"

"Project Server has returned unexpected server response"
"Click View to see server response"

there is no error comming up in event viewer

how do i connect to project server now

i have also deleted project template from project server still not been able
to connect thru project professional
