Hi everyone, I have a nagging problem. I recently upgraded to Project Pro 2003. I have never been able to connect to my Project Server since installing it. The server was initially Project Server 2002, but I installed an evaluation copy of Project Server 2003 just to try to get it working, and it still fails. This is the error box I always get

Project Server erro
The server returned an error while processing your request. The erro
could be caused by one of the following
- The URL specififed is not valid or is not a Project Serve
- Internet Explorer is set to Work Offlin
- The server could not process your request
- An internal server error occurred

I *know* the first two are not correct, I successfully published to the Project Server when it was version 2002 and I was running Project Standard 2002 (my reason for upgrading was to utilize Enterprise features).

Does anyone have any thoughts on what I'm missing? I'm unfortunately the most knowledgeable person at my company with MS Project, and I'm stuck. Thanks!

I ended up solving this one on my own, by *cleanly* uninstalling Project Server 2002 before installing Project Server 2003. I used the tips in Gary Chefetz's book to guide me in how to do this, particularly in removing the SQL server database (ProjectServer, in SQL Enterprise Manager) and the SQL usernames (MSProjectServerUser and MSProjectUser) that are created for Project Server. Now my Project Server 2003 works just fine. Thanks for the well thought book Gary! I should remember to dig through it first before giving up hope. :)
