Connection string, MOSS 2007 lists to Access w Pwd and Userid

I've got an Access application and I am trying to link several SharePoint
lists to the front end. This works fine for some of my applications users.
However, the way our SharePoint is setup, some of our users require a userid
and password to get access to that part of our Portal.

I've looked all over and cannot find the syntax for a connection string to a
SharePoint list item where the user is required to enter a userid and
password. I've tried a couple of configurations, but would really appreciate
it if someone could provide the correct string format.

Yeah, I checked there. There are a couple of examples, but nothing with a
userid and password.
