I not others get this message, however my scenario is different! I have set
up a new email address at Tiscali to use when we are on hols. I have
configured it into Outlook XP on my main machine where it is one of several
emails and it happily sends and receives. I have also configured it on my
laptop on Outlook 2003 where it is now one of two email addresses to be
handled. It was quite happy with the account setting up test and the
resulting emails down load into the main computer. However, the laptop fails
on the receive part of this one email, the other three parts, send and
receive from the other email and send from the new one work. The error
message is: [! Task 'email address' - Receiving reported error (ox800CCC0F) :
The connection to the server was interrupted. bla blah. The server responded;
+OK 1290 bytes]. I have turned NAV 2006 off but the other machine is running
NAV2005 so dont believe it is this. I have tried retyping everything but the
test in the account set up connects OK. I am baffled. John Webb
