connections

I have two variables shape1 and shape2 and I would like to connect those.
Both shapes have multiple connectors. Now I have two questions.

- Is there a way to give each connector a unique name?
- How can I make the connection using VBA?

I'm using visio 2003 professional.

there are references and examples in the v2003 sdk available on msdn. John
Marshall also has examples on his site (visio.mvps.org) and finally you
might check out some of the reference books that he lists (David Edsons and
Graham Widemans are both excellent). There is also a on-line book at
